Dopt issued orders regarding the maintenance of service book of Central Government employees and instruction also given to all ministries and departments to include the Aadhaar number in the service book of all Central Government employees. Aadhaar number is a unique identification of each employee, which will be used in bio-metric attendance in future.

Venkaiah Naidu Calls for Three Pronged Strategy to Realize the Goal of Clean India While Reviewing the Implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission 

Union Minister for Urban Development, Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation and Parliamentary Affairs, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has called for a three-pronged strategy to relialize the goal of Clean India which should include sustained campaign – continue the chain of nine; focus more on behaviroual change - encourage voluntary public participation; and to recognize ULBs, NGOs and Private Sector contributing significantly to the success of the Mission. 

The Miniser reviewed implementation of the Swachh Bharat Mission in national capital today with the Chief Secretary of Delhi, senior officials of Government of India, Delhi Government, MCDs, DDA, Delhi Police, DTC, DMRC and other agencies.

We have been receiving frequent queries through SMS & e-mail in connection with latest position of the case filed. Besides, several of our friends wanted to know the approach of 7th Pay Commission towards the new pay structure of LDC & UDC. 

As has already been said, three cases have been filed on the upgradation of Grade Pay of LDC/UDC in various courts so far and all these cases are progressing at their respective places.

Railway Board has referred three allowances (viz. Running Allowance, Additional Allowance and Breakdown Allowance) to 7th Central Pay Commission for their consideration and recommendation.

1. Running Allowance for running staff.

2. Additional Allowance as pay for all purpose including computation of retirement benefits of running staff.

3. Revision of Breakdown Allowance (BDA)
