"The wage revision which was due in 2011 has not come about even though 7 CPC was set up a few months back. The demand for Interim Relief, merger of DA with Pay which normally accompanies the announcement of the pay commission were not granted by the government, the demand for inclusion of Gramin Dak Sevaks within the purview of 7th CPC was also rejected."

JCM, National Council, Staff Side organizations will be organizing a National Convention of all Central Government Employees at New Delhi on 11.12.2014. Railway, Defence & Confederation will participate in the convention. Convention will declare future course of action. DA merger, Interim Relief, Date of effect of 7th CPC inclusion of GDS under 7th CPC etc are the main demands.

National Council JCM Staff Side meeting is going to take place tomorrow in New Delhi

Much Anticipated National Council JCM Staff Side Meeting Tomorrow

The National Council JCM Staff Side meeting is going to take place tomorrow in New Delhi. The meeting, to be attended by the representatives of all federations, will be chaired by the Staff Side Secretary, Shiva Gopal Mishra.

Important agendas of the meeting include demanding a change in the attitude of the Central Government towards the Central Government employees, merger of DA, granting interim relief and to hold discussions over the date of effect of the recommendations of the 7th CPC.
