The National JCA, which met at the Staff Side Office on 8th June, 2015, took note of the fact that quite a few states are yet to hold the State Level Conventions. The meeting also noted that the strike decision taken on 28th April, 2015 has not been percolated down to the rank and file of the workers.

DA to CPSE Employees from Jan 15 – 262% to 273% for without 50% DA Merger – 212% to 223% with 50% DA Merger

Payment of DA to the CDA pattern employees of CPSEs governed by HPPC recommendations.

“In case of CPSEs who have not allowed the benefit of merger of 50% of DA with basic pay, the DA may be enhanced from existing rate of 262% to 273% and In case of not allowed the benefit of merger of 50% of DA with basic pay, the DA may be enhanced from existing rate of 212% to 223%.”

Recently rumour mill went overdrive in social media with the following news that

1.central government decided to Merge 50% DA with basic pay with effect from 1.1.2015 and order will be issued within 15 days

2. Encashment of Earned Leave to be curtailed to 180days instead of existing 300 days.

3.It went on to say that age of Retirement will be on completion of 33 Years of service or at the age of 58 Years whichever is earlier

The meeting has, therefore, decided to go ahead with the agitational programmes, the first phase of which will culminate in a massive March to Parliament by Central Government employees on 28th April, 2015."

Sub: Holding of National Convention of the National Council (JCM)(Staff Side)

As you are aware, the Staff Side, JCM National Council had, as desired by the 7th CPC, submitted a separate memorandum on Interim Relief and Merger of DA, copy of which had also been sent to the Finance Ministry. During the Informal Discussions the Staff Side had with the Pay Commission, they had assured us to take up the issue with the Government seeking amendment to the Terms of Reference to enable them to act upon our memorandum.

National Convention will adopt a joint resolution on DA Merger, Interim Relief

JCM STAFF SIDE NATIONAL CONVENTION ON 11TH DECEMBER 2014 AT NEW DELHI.

WILL DECLARE JOINT PROGRAME OF ACTION ON CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES COMMON DEMANDS

JCM Staff Side leadership has decided to organize a National Convention of all Central Government Employees (Railway, Defence & Confederation) on 11th December 2014 at New Delhi from 12 PM to 4 PM. Convention will adopt a joint resolution on the common demands of the Central Government Employees viz; Merger of DA, Interim Relief, Inlcusion of GDS under 7th CPC, Scrap New Pension Scheme etc and will declare joint programs of action.

National Council JCM Staff Side meeting is going to take place tomorrow in New Delhi

Much Anticipated National Council JCM Staff Side Meeting Tomorrow

The National Council JCM Staff Side meeting is going to take place tomorrow in New Delhi. The meeting, to be attended by the representatives of all federations, will be chaired by the Staff Side Secretary, Shiva Gopal Mishra.

Important agendas of the meeting include demanding a change in the attitude of the Central Government towards the Central Government employees, merger of DA, granting interim relief and to hold discussions over the date of effect of the recommendations of the 7th CPC.
