Texas plant explosion

First it was Boston, and now Texas. The injuries I read just gets more gruesome. Death toll on the rise too.

Whats worrying? Both incidents were not caused by natural disasters..

I watched the video of the explosion and it was massive : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2310825/West-Texas-fertilizer-plant-explosion-leaves-dead-100-injured.html

Boston's marathon bombing

Reading the news about the bombing in Boston since yesterday makes me feel sad. It gets worse today when I read:

"I started running towards the blast and there were people lying all over the floor."He said, "We started grabbing turniquets and started tying legs. A lot of people amputated. At least 25 to 30 people have at least one missing leg or an ankle missing or two legs missing"

All this happened at Copley Square in Boston. It brings back good memories I had over there. Boston was a very memorable trip for me and I have always told people to visit it when they are in USA. Hopefully they will catch the culprit and the mastermind behind this evil doing.

H&M opening at Lot 10

Were you at the H&M public opening at Lot 10?
Were you part of the tremendously long queue outside?
Were you part of the queue waiting to try on clothes?

Lol... I was not. I was only a passerby and the above scenarios was what I saw. H&M has two floors in Lot 10. I realised they took over Debenhams lot. Debenhams is now located in Star Hill. How many times has Debemhams moved already? Four? Five?

Anyway, I did not get a chance to step into H&M. I have been to the ones in USA, but was never a big fan of their stuff.

Then it had me thinking: with Forever 21 and H&M here, I really wish someome could bring New York and Company to KL. Thats my favourite brand from USA! Dang, brings back memories of being in USA....

Starbucks 50% off

If you haven't already heard, Starbucks is currently having 50% off for their drinks. It is a pretty good deal for people who can't afford Starbucks as it is a luxury to many. I heard the offer was worldwide!

It was my first time patronising the Starbucks in Glasgow. I've been to Starbucks in USA, Malaysia, and now, Glasgow. They are all similar be it the interior or the aromatic smell of coffee surrounding the place once the front door opens.

The Starbucks logo is the same everywhere but with one exception being a Starbucks in Seattle. Seattle has plenty of Starbucks. But, this particular one stands out as it had a different logo and it was always packed with plenty of visitors. If you haven't heard the story, well, its because Starbucks originated from Seattle and that particular store was the first Starbucks ever.
Me in front of the first ever Starbucks in Seattle.
Look at the crowd (lining up till outside) and the different Starbucks logo behind.

I do not drink coffee. So, I'd usually order a hot chocolate or ice blended chocolate and top it up with a biscotti. Starbucks biscottis are the best!

Well, a first visit to a Starbucks in Glasgow is definitely something blogable :)
